15 July 2022: The Contract Notice for the SRN Off-Grid Power Services Framework has today been published. This follows the publication of the Acquisition, Design and Build (ADB) Framework in November 2021, the publication of the Managed Solution (MS) Framework in December 2021 and the publication of the Transmission Framework in May 2022.
The Off-Grid Power Services framework will appoint four suppliers who are able to provide off-grid power services for mobile telecoms base station sites.
The publicly funded elements of the Shared Rural Network will follow an open, fair and transparent competitive procurement process. In line with procurement law, state aid rules and government policies there will be a role for the whole supply chain in the procurement process.
