22 February 2024: Building Digital UK (BDUK) has today published a report detailing the benefits the Shared Rural Network will deliver in the most rural parts of Scotland.
In her foreword, Julia Lopez, Minister for Data and Digital Infrastructure comments: “Without this investment people and businesses will miss out on the major benefits that come from improving geographic mobile coverage, like helping first responders, tackling rural crime, supporting childrens’ online learning, giving businesses what they need to grow and protecting hillwalkers, cyclists and mountaineers who visit these areas.”
