£1bn deal to end poor rural mobile coverage agreed

30 April 2025: 47 government-funded mast upgrades as part of the Shared Rural Network (SRN) were activated by the end of April 2025. 26 sites are now live in Wales, 13 in Scotland and 8 in England.
